Greetings,

At Everything’s Connected Prospect Wellness Center, we are hoping that everyone had an enjoyable and safe summer filled with fun and relaxation. We are gearing up for the winter season and as the weather changes, our business is changing too!

As always, our desire is to provide the best care to our clients and we are thrilled to announce a new addition to our health care team. Everything’s Connected will be expanding existing its foot-print to offer Physiotherapy, acupuncture and dry needling services. We are pleased to introduce and work alongside Matthew Mitchell, a hardworking and passionate local community member.

Welcoming Matthew Mitchell to Everything’s Connected!

Matthew Mitchell is a registered physiotherapist. He graduated from Dalhousie University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and in 2008 with a Master’s of Science in Physiotherapy. He is trained in acupuncture, dry needling, and has many post graduate courses in manual therapy. He has worked in private practice and with the military as a civilian contractor where he has treated a variety of conditions and injuries.

Matthew’s approach is a blend of hands-on techniques, education, exercise, and other physiotherapy treatments that are specific to his patients’ needs. He has a firm belief that quality guidance and a patient’s understanding are essential to maximizing their recovery and managing their conditions.

Matthew has lived in Brookside his entire life and is happy to be treating fellow community members.  He keeps busy by spending time with his wife and two children and volunteering in the community. He leads an active lifestyle and enjoys playing hockey and ball hockey.

Matthew will start seeing clients December 1st, 2016 (part-time to begin). Winter will be perfect time to address chronic pain, snow shoveling injuries and much more. We will be hosting an open house in the spring or early summer so you can meet Matthew and learn more about the services he can offer – stay tuned for details on that event.

Physiotherapy Rate is $60 per-session.

On November 11th we shall Remember

As a thank you to those who have served, Stefanie will be offering 60-minute complimentary massages on Remembrance Day to Canadian Forces Veterans and Active Duty Members. If you or someone you know has served our Country and are interested in the opportunity for relaxation on November 11th please call our office at 902-850-3331.

*Our clinic will exceptionally be opened from 12:00 to 20:30 for appointments.

Change to Offered Discount

Effective January 1st, 2017 our seniors discount (eligibility starting at 60 years of age) will change. It has been our pleasure to offer a discount rate of 15% to our seniors in the past however we are no longer able to offer the discount at this rate. Starting in January we will offer a discount of 5% to our seniors on 30-60 minute treatments. We apologize for any initial inconvenience this may cause.

Important: New Appointment Reminder & Confirmation system

At Everything’s Connected Prospect Wellness Center our procedure for appointment reminders has previously been a courtesy phone call the day before your appointment. Over the past year we have been improving our operating system which will now facilitate email and text reminders/confirmations.

Starting January 1, 2017 there will no longer be phone call reminders. All reminders will be sent via email or text unless specialized circumstances apply.

·         Please ensure your contact information is up to date.

·         If you require phone call reminders please contact us directly to ensure it is noted.

·         Given that technology systems and features can experience glitches/maintenance   please note that the reminder process does not take the place of your responsibility for your appointments.

We appreciate your cooperation in this change, the efficacy gain will allow us to treat and serve you best.
